Electronic Document Forms
What makes an Electronic Form of Highest Quality?
Fonts
- Have you ever seen a form with 5 or more types of fonts on the page? Not only is
it hard to read, many times the fonts originally designed into the form are not available
on many desktops. This causes Windows and Word to substitute with a font of a
different size. Pages begin to shift and the original formatting is lost.
- 4D uses common fonts (Times New Roman and Arial) unless otherwise requested by a
client. These fonts are fairly universal so your documents look the way they were
intended.
Printer Margins
- Have you ever designed a form only
to find out that it produces error message when you send it to the printer? Or,
pieces of the page are missing? Or the text wraps to the next page?
- 4D uses ½ margins all around
which can be used on 99% of the printers now available.
Tabs and Paragraph marks
- Have you ever turned on the paragraph marks in Word and found dozens of tab marks or
extra paragraph marks throughout the document?
- We reduce keystrokes so you dont have to work as hard. Tabs are used to jump
to the next entry in a table format, reducing tedious mouse positioning.
- Our catalog shows the preview or our forms with all paragraph marks showing. This
lets you know the quality before you buy.
We strive for perfection
- We test our forms as much as possible before emailing them to our customers.
- We fill out our forms to make sure they perform as expected. Our catalog shows you
the filled-out form so you know they will perform well in real life.
- E-mail us if you feel our standard catalog forms can be improved some way. If we
incorporate your suggestion, we will e-mail you a free revision.
